How does Squirrel® work?

Squirrel Lite® is powered by a lightweight battery pack fitted inside a small, military-grade case.

Connect upto 4 CCTV cameras to the Squirrel Lite® base station...

The built-in screen allows you to view all 4 cameras so that you can position them correctly...

When motion is detected Squirrel Lite® will e-mail 1-5 images per camera showing you exactly what triggered the motion, accompanied by an SMS alert...

It also records onto a removable USB memory stick and a large internal hard drive that can be retrieved via WiFi (no cables required). These are encrypted, real-time recordings that can be used as evidence in court or turned into Windows® Media Player files for distribution or evidence gathering.

Wireless Camera options

PTZ control

4 x PTZ cameras can now be connected and controlled by each Squirrel Lite. Multi-protocols are supported so that different types of camera can be connected and controlled at the same time. Infra Red without the 'tell-tale' red glow

Covert night-time CCTV operations rely heavily on the ability to provide invisible light in the infra-red spectrum that can be seen only by the camera. However, most CCTV cameras work at 'near' infra-red frequencies of around 850nm, which can be seen by the naked eye as a faint, red glow. Asset ID has now introduced the B5500 camera to it's Squirrel Lite range of products to provide true covert night-time vision that is completely invisible to the naked eye. The camera also comes with a 5-50mm vari-focal lens allowing it to be deployed further from the target area.
